Trip last year to the pier at Newport, Dungeness and one big Red...... Cooked N' Cleaned ready to Crack.....
Hey Joe, sorry it took so long to get back to ya. It took about 4 hrs, when we got there a gentleman was filleting a bunch of salmon, we took all the leftovers and the crabs went nuts over the bait. We had to throw back as many females, We did lose 2 nets to seals, they liked the salmon as much as the crabs....Anyway, great day at Newport.............
Fresh salmon has always worked well for me at my vacation house in Puget Sound. I mix salmon with chicken wings as they are very bony. Even once the meat is gone the boned hold the scent. Works amazingly well!
