    My favorite thing to hunt is Grouse. I can't think of a better day than walking down old logging roads and kicking a few birds up.

    My father has told me the same thing. Said they used to be everywhere compared to now.

    Grouse hunting is one of my favorite birds to hunt.My lab has been retrieving them for me since she was about 4 month old.
    Not to tot my own horn but me & wife slaughter them ever time we go.
    Can't find a deer or elk to kill but can always find a grouse.

    Shot a couple last year while deer hunting, they were good. A few weeks ago I put my trail cam out and had 2 of them right on the road, can't wait for bird season this year.
